Regent Revenue Cycle Management (Regent RCM), an independent division of Regent Surgical Health and a leading provider of cost-effective billing and collection services for ambulatory surgery centers in the United States, has promoted Leslie Favela to Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
Favela joined Regent RCM in 2012 and has been promoted twice moving from Business Office Coordinator to Manager of Business Development, RCM before assuming her current director role.
“Leslie is a results-driven leader and an important asset to our team, particularly during this high-growth phase of our business,” said Erin Petrie, Vice President of Regent Revenue Cycle Management. “Leslie has transformed our onboarding process and continues to evolve business processes to keep pace with our growth and allow us to deliver the high level of customer service our clients deserve. She exemplifies our internal RISE values and is a champion for our culture. I’m proud to work alongside her and congratulate her on this well-deserved promotion.”
In 2020, Favela was recognized for exemplifying Regent’s Stewardship value – demonstrating a responsibility to properly utilize and develop Regent’s team, property and assets while fostering a safe and secure environment.
In her new role, Favela will mentor Regent RCM’s team of revenue cycle specialists and provide recommendations for process improvement and optimization. She will continue to strengthen Regent RCM’s business strategy and drive growth for the client portfolio while maintaining Regent RCM’s high standards for performance. Prior to joining Regent RCM, Favela worked previously as a business office manager and marketing director for a pain management practice with multiple locations in Chicago.
